Transportation in the city

The University does not provide transportation within the campus. But the city is well connected with bus routes and train networks. With the university situated in the downtown of the city, it is very convenient for the students to use public transport like the Line 2 bus to reach the university gates. Along with that, public transport cards with student discounts can be made from various kiosks. People in Sweden prefer walking or traveling by cycle. It is the preferred and affordable mode of commutation.

Halmstad University does not provide on-campus accommodation to students studying at the institution.

The union further helps international students settle without any hassle by providing on-ground assistance and helping the students in settling at the University.
