Transportation in the city
The Stockholms lokaltrafik (SL) commuter trains to Uppsala and Stockholm depart from Arlanda Central Station which is located between Terminals 4 and 5. The students can make a reservation with Uppsala Taxi (+46 18 100 000) and taxi Kurir, Uppsala(+46 18 123456).
The Stockholm Arlanda International Airport is located between Stockholm and Uppsala, 36 km south of Uppsala.
Services offered by the university
- Uppsala Biomedical Centre (BMC) has the largest life sciences centers in Europe and provides education and research facilities in chemistry, medicine, biology, and dietetics.
- Evolutionary Biology Centre (EBC) provides education in biology and evolutionary processes and offers facilities for research in environmental toxicology along with developmental biology. It is home to the Museum of Evolution with paleontology, and botany.
- The English Park Campus of the university houses the Humanities Theatre, the Karin Boye Library, and Hugo Valentin Centre and also provides programs in the humanities and social sciences.
