Fulda University of Applied Sciences is a public university established in 1974. It is located in the district of Hesse, Fulda, Southwest Germany. It is the first university of applied sciences to have the right to provide Ph.D. degrees. It is accredited by the Hessisches Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst (Hessen Ministry of Higher Education, Research and the Arts). 


Fulda University of Applied Sciences courses comprise full-time bachelor, preparatory, and master's programmes in the areas of natural & health sciences, food & consumer services, food technology, nutrition, social & cultural science, business, applied CS, and social work. It is home to 8,800 students with 1,500 international students representing and joining from 100 countries.
