About

Brescia University College was established in 1919 by the Ursuline Sisters of Chatham. Situated in the London city of Ontario, it is one of the few institutions that is dedicated especially for women. With the various affiliations from the Association of Commonwealth Universities, International Association of Universities, and the Council of Ontario Universities, BUC is also a member of Universities of Canada and the Women’s College Coalition. 

With more than 2000 students enrolling every year, the college offers undergraduate programs in management, and organizational studies, arts, and science and a postgraduate degree in foods and nutrition sciences.

Transportation in the city

The Brescia Students are eligible for the Universal Bus Pass through the University Student Council and London Transit. Also, the Brescia Shuttle Service helps the students in traveling across Western and Affiliated campuses. Additionally, the Southwest Heath Line is a transit service for students and individuals with disabilities.

Research opportunities at university

The University carries out various partially funded and fully funded research. The students have access to these researches and around 5% of the students present on campus are research assistants. Some of the main research is carried out in the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, Psychology Honors Thesis conference, and many more.


Internship opportunities (Part time job opportunities)

The students have various work-study programs to enhance their academic careers at the university. The BOLD Works is a study program that helps the students with getting relevant experience through on-campus professional experience. 

The Management and Organizational Studies Internships Program offers the students an opportunity to work and gain practical experience from 8 to 16 months of industry experience. 

Additionally, the students have access to various job boards where they can have access to various jobs and vacancies. Around 600 students every year bag some internship opportunities with an average salary of 1500 CAD (93,000 INR)  per month.
