Fall deadlines fall between January and March, roughly six to nine months ahead, so a September start means you prepare during the previous academic year.

• Letter of Acceptance: An unconditional offer from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI), a status all eight universities here hold.
• Academic transcripts: Attested mark sheets from Class 10, Class 12, and any completed degree.
• Proof of funds: CAD 22,895 (₹16 Lakh) for living costs beyond first-year tuition outside Quebec, and CAD 24,617 (₹17 Lakh) inside Quebec.
• Passport and photographs: A valid passport plus recent passport-sized photos for you and any dependants.
• Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC): A GIC of around CAD 20,635 (₹14 Lakh), or an equivalent bank balance, as evidence of financial support.

Note: Canada has updated several study permit requirements in recent years. Depending on your university, province, and level of study, you may also need documents such as a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL), Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ), proof of funds, or a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC).
