On campus accomodation
There are multiple options for accommodation on campus for students of the university. These residences are 45 Mann, Annex, Hyman-Soloway, 90U, Stanton, Marchand, Henderson, LeBlanc, Friel, Rideu and Thompson. Applications for accommodation are taken on a first come first served basis. Residence is also guaranteed to first year students who are in a full time undergraduate course in the fall term and have submitted their residency application and University of Ottawa fee before the deadline. Students admitted directly into the second year are also guaranteed housing.
The University of Ottawa’s address of main University of Ottawa’s campus is located on 42.5 hectares (105 acres) directly to the northeast of Downtown Ottawa across the Rideau Canal in the Sandy Hill neighbourhood.
There are various accommodation options present as mentioned above. 90U has suites while the Friel residence has suites along with studios for students. LeBlanc, Stanton, Thompson and Marchand are the basic community style halls. Hyman Soloway, Annex and 45 Mann have an apartment styled housing where accommodation for the whole year is also offered for students who want to stay on the University of Ottawa Campus for more than a year. The University of Ottawa campus also has independent houses for senior students who have already completed two years at the university.

Research opportunities at university
The University of Ottawa encourages research. The International Research and Experiential Learning (IREX) helps the researchers at the university to University of Ottawa Address and study the challenges in the world with the help of leading national as well international partners.
