As a member of the Cathedrals Group (officially the Council of Church Universities and Colleges, or CCUC), Winchester University is part of a network of universities and colleges in the United Kingdom.
- The University graduates its students at Winchester Cathedral, one of the largest cathedrals in Europe. Following graduation, students are eligible to use the post-nominal title "Winton", which comes from the Latin term Wintoniensis, meaning "of Winchester."
- Winchester Scholarships 2022 are partially-funded scholarships available to international students. These Winchester University scholarships are available at the undergraduate and master's levels. Those who qualify receive a reduction in tuition fees of no more than GBP 1,000 (INR 98,460).
- It also has a boarding college, Winchester Shoei College, which opened in 1982 and is affiliated with Shirokanedai High School, in Minato, Tokyo.
