The University of Applied Science Europe (UE) was formed in 2017 by the merger of Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule and Business & Information Technology School. The Uni Business and Information Technology School was founded in 2000. UE is a state-recognized university and is present in Hamburg, Berlin, and Iserlohn.

Documents Required to Apply to University of Europe for Applied Sciences

The essential requirement to study for a bachelor's degree program at UE is a high school diploma or equivalent. You also need an internship, pass an entrance exam, and a personal interview for business programs.

Transportation in the city

If you are a UE student, you will receive a discounted semester ticket that you can use for bus, underground, and suburban trains, as well as certain regional trains. 


Services offered by the university

  • The campus is spread across 7000 square feet, filled with large photo and radio studios for scribbling, drawing, thinking, and programming.
  • The campus also has green and animation studios, a research center, a 3D lab, and a museum.
  • Exhibition areas on the campus provide spaces for entrepreneurial and creative projects for students.
  • All spaces are equipped with WiFi and projectors.

Student life at University of Europe for Applied Sciences

UE has its main campus in its headquarters in Iserlohn and two more campuses in Hamburg and Berlin. The Berlin campus is at the heart of the metropolis culture, next to Postdamer Platz. The Hamburg campus is near the harbor along River Elbe in Altona.

The UE is state-credited in the federal state of Brandenburg, and the Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture has approved all the study programs at UE. Few other specialized accreditations include FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) and AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.)
