With an acceptance rate of about 73%, the college is quite particular about the admissions of new students. Based on the program, residency status, and various other factors, the application process differs, and the students need to submit an application fee of 96 CAD (5800 INR).

Transportation in the city

  • UdeS Students have free access to Public Transport by the Societe de Transport de Sherbrooke (STS). They have unlimited access to urban public transport. Moreover, students from downtown can depart towards the campus through STS night buses.
  • The students can also use Sherbrooke Taxi Network. 
  • Limo car offers more than 200 departures per week from Sherbrooke and Montreal through downtown Sherbrooke Terminus or University Terminus.  
  • La Québécoise offers a daily connection between Sherbrooke and Quebec.

On campus accomodation at University of Sherbrooke

The University does provide on-campus accommodation for students, but the number of places is limited. The students can sign an eight-month 12, month lease. Applications are served on a first-come, first serve basis. 

The student room on campus must deposit an advance of 370 CAD (22,600 INR) to confirm the reservation.

Moreover, the students can live off-campus in private residences or rent private rooms and flats. The indicative price for rent is around 500 CAD (30,000 INR) per month.
