Transportation in the city

The Saskatchewan Polytechnic itself does not provide any transportation services; however, the most affordable and easiest way to reach the university is by using public transit services, such as buses, cabs, or taxis.

Services offered by the university

The Saskatchewan Polytechnic campus provides facilities that are thought to be favorable to learning.

  • Prior to that, it was called SIAST Kelsey Campus in honor of renowned explorer and fur merchant Henry Kelsey. The campus is around 13 acres in size. There has been a Saskatoon Campus there since 1941.
  • Fitness facilities, testing facilities, a library, wellness spaces, cafeteria options, and departmental bookstores are all located on the main Saskatchewan campus.
  • The campus also has modern classrooms for efficient learning. 
  • In addition to the schools and institutions, the campus also has student housing. On-campus, students have access to all the facilities they need.

  • The main campus of the institute is situated in Saskatoon. 
  • In each campus city, the students' association coordinates clubs and events for students as well as peer assistance.
  • Students at Saskatchewan Polytechnic are given all the resources they need to launch their own organization by the SPSA.
