• John Stewart Bell - He was the originator of “Bell's inequality theorem” and is deemed as one of the Top Ten Physicists of the 20th century by the Institute of Physics.
• Mary Robinson - She was the Seventh President of Ireland and the first woman to hold this office.
• Karen Hassan - A British actress who featured in the TV series Vikings.
• Máire O'Neill - She is regarded as one of the leading cryptography experts in Europe and received the prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering Silver medal in 2014 (she is one of the only five engineers to have received this award).
