Transportation in the city

The Newcastle City Center is around 10 kilometers from the Newcastle International Airport. From the airport to the city center, metro is available; the trip to Haymarket (the closest stop to the University) takes around 25 minutes. Newcastle Central Station is also readily accessible from London King's Cross, Glasgow, and Edinburgh via the East Coast mainline. The Haymarket Metro station is located directly across from the school and is only two stops away from Central Station. The station is 18 minutes walking distance from the Newcastle Universities campus.
