- McNeese Athletics offers its students to participate in various men’s and women’s sports like baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, tennis, softball, volleyball, and track & field. Intramural sports like flag football, table tennis, badminton, and more are also offered.
- The university’s Cowboy Stadium has a seating capacity of 17,610, with an athletic field house with 200 box seats. It also has a practice area with three football fields on the stadium's east side.
- Located just north of the Student Recreation Center on the McNeese State University campus, The McNeese women’s tennis team plays all their home games at Nancy Hank Tennis Center. It comprises eight all-weather courts and is open to the public at night.
