McNeese State University, a public institution located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, was established in 1939 under the name Lake Charles Junior College. It comprises six colleges and the Doré School of Graduate Studies, with all academic programs accredited by their respective national boards. McNeese is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
The university's 1,560-acre campus includes 79 buildings, with the 121-acre main campus featuring around 51 buildings. A: Once you have registered and paid your tuition and fees, bring a photo ID to University Police located on the west side of Ryan Street. Your first student ID card is free; cost for replacement is $10. You do not need a new card each semester; you only need a new one if you lose it.

A: If appropriate documentation has been presented that demonstrates a need for testing academic adjustments, there are a couple of options. Possible testing accommodations are extended time (time and a half) and/or a distraction-reduced environment in which to take the test.

A: There are some limitations on who is eligible to serve – those who may stand for Faculty Senate include full-time faculty (full-time instructors and assistant/associate/full professors) whose teaching load exceeds 50% of their total workload.
