  • Teresa Weatherspoon: A former professional basketball player and coach, Weatherspoon is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. She played for the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters from 1988 to 1991 and led the team to three national championships.

Transportation in the city
