Transportation in the city

There are various ways to get to the Kiel University of Applied Science, including taking the bus, train, walking, or renting a motorcycle. The city has an efficient and well-developed public transportation system. The cheapest way to get from the University of Kiel to Kiel is by taxi, which costs between 700 and 850 euros and takes 3 minutes. Also, students can opt for a direct  bus that generally runs from the Kiel University of Applied Science to Kiel Hospitalstraße. Services run every 20 minutes and are available 24 hours a day. The trip takes about 10 minutes.

  • Kiel University of Applied Sciences has campuses in two places: Kiel, the capital of Schleswig-Holstein, and Osterrönfeld, near Rendsburg.
  • The faculties of IT Applications, coding and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, media, social work and health, and business management are on the main campus of Kiel city.
  • The Agriculture Faculty is located on the Osterrönfeld campus.
