The university offers three available options including on-campus accommodation, homestay and renting apartment or house. On-campus accommodation at Rockhampton provides a supportive and caring environment for around 300 students. The residence is very close to all the academic buildings, the sports area and the library and it offers a standard room with three meals a day. Homestay is usually for students that are looking for short-term accommodation or that are new to the country. This option means that students will be staying at a family house where they will show them around the community, help them with the basics of Australian culture and provide support to settle into the Australian life. The last option is living off-campus, where students can rent an apartment near the University at an affordable price and find comfortable facilities.

Even though the University is well recognized for having a lot of campuses across Australia, their education from a few years to present has downgraded a little bit. Many students complain that Lecturers are sometimes lazy and unorganized and they do not always align with tutorials and courses.
