Canadian Mennonite University (CMU), a private institution located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is affiliated with both Mennonite Church Canada and the Mennonite Brethren Church of Manitoba. Established in 1999, CMU was formed through the merger of several institutions: Canadian Mennonite Bible College (founded in 1947), Concord College (originally Mennonite Brethren Bible College, founded in 1944), and Menno Simons College (founded in 1988).
