VISTA buses provide access to Gold Coast Transit in Oxnard and the Camarillo railway station, and the institution constructed a bus transit network to service the campus.

• North Quad and South Quad are the two main areas of the campus.
• A big programmable area for student events and a live entertainment centre is included in the Student Union.
• To keep the campus safe and secure, there is an on-site California State University- Channel Islands Police Department.

153 acres of the campus's primary attractions include Spanish-style buildings and courtyards. It has three campuses across California's San Francisco East Bay Area, Hayward, Oakland, and Concord. 

• Students have access to a dining centre featuring a coffee shop, pizzeria, sandwich deli, and salad bar, as well as lounges for informal gatherings, a game area with pool tables, and computer gaming equipment.
• The Student Union also has a courtyard where the entire campus community can congregate for outdoor events and festivities

It provides many forms of student accommodation on campus in the United States. Santa Rosa Village, Santa Cruz Village, Anacapa Village, and Town Centre are the four primary types of housing villages.

• Freshmen and second-year students can live in Santa Rosa Village. Anacapa village and Town centre are primarily for junior and senior international students, whereas Santa Cruz village is for upper-division students.
• The residential dining plan, which includes meals at Islands Cafe and other campus cafes, is available to all residents.
• Types of rooms available are Double occupancy bedrooms, some triple occupancy, and single occupancy bedrooms. 
• Facilities such as free internet, comfortable bedding, and a lounge area are accessed by all the residents.
• The accommodation may vary from USD 1,900 (INR 1,45,388) to USD 2,500 (INR 1,91,300).
