The application process is streamlined within the admissions process. There is no separate application for merit-based consideration, but need-based aid requires additional steps.
Step 1: Check Your Eligibility
Review the admission requirements for your desired program on the official Fletcher School website. Ensure you meet the academic and professional experience criteria.
Step 2: Complete the Admissions Application
Submit your complete application for admission through the Fletcher application portal by the deadline. This is the core of your scholarship application.
Step 3: Indicate Interest in Need-Based Aid
Within the application, complete the "Application-Based Aid" section to be considered for need-based Fletcher Scholarships. For international students, this includes submitting the International Student Financial Status Form.
Step 4: Submit and Await Admission Decision
Your application will be reviewed holistically by the admissions committee for both admission and scholarship eligibility.
Step 5: Receive Your Financial Aid Award Letter
If you are admitted and awarded a scholarship, your financial aid award letter will be included with your admission offer. This typically happens in the spring.
Step 6: Secure Your Place
Accept your offer of admission and scholarship by the deadline to secure your place in the class.
Please note: The application deadlines vary by program. For the 2025-2026 academic year, key deadlines are listed below.

Fletcher Scholarships Interview
There is no separate interview specifically for the Fletcher Scholarships. The selection is based entirely on your written application materials. However, the admissions committee may request an interview as part of the standard admissions process for some applicants. This interview, if conducted, would focus on your overall fit for the program and your professional goals.
