How to Apply for Dean's Scholarship

The application process is completed online through a dedicated form. It is a competitive process involving multiple stages of assessment within the Faculty.

Step 1: Apply for a Faculty of Medicine Master's Programme
Please ensure that you have applied for a place on a Faculty of Medicine Master's programme before applying for the scholarship. Failure to do so may render your scholarship application invalid. You can use the Imperial College online admissions system.

Step 2: Complete the Scholarship Application Form
Complete the online scholarship application form in a single session. The form will ask for personal details, your programme choices, and your responses to four competency-based questions.

Step 3: Automatic Consideration for Both Awards
Students will automatically be considered for both the Dean's Scholarship and the Dr Jean Alero Thomas Scholarship, where eligible, when submitting this single form.

Step 4: Departmental and Faculty-Level Review
Applications will initially be reviewed by departments, before shortlisting and review at the Faculty-level takes place in June.

Step 5: Receive Your Outcome
All applicants will be informed of their outcome, successful or not, by the end of July.
