Transportation in the city

The Commuter Service Office provides transportation and parking assistance to students, staff and faculty at the university. Additionally, the mass transit system of the City of Philadelphia runs SEPTA buses, trains, and trolleys throughout the city. 

  • Students can take PATCO High Speed Trains from New Jersey to 10th and Locust Station
  • Jefferson Campus is bound by 8th and 11th Streets and Chestnut and Locust Streets. 
  • Students can get their transportation cards at 50% reduced prices after showing their university identification cards. 

Services offered by the university

  • Jefferson University campus has two locations: the East fall campus and the Center city campus. Both campuses give the students access to varieties of facilities. 
  • These facilities include a library, academic success center, clubs and organizations, a fashion and textiles center, residential halls, etc.
  • Shuttle and bus service is also available for students to visit campus and nearby locations around the campus.
