There is a big gate known as the Founders Gate. This is located between the Engleman Hall and Lyman Center. It is also a link to the early SCSU campus on Howe Street. Recently, the campus has expanded, and a new Academic building for science and research has been added, in addition to the parking area to incorporate more student cars near Jennings Hall.
The academic sector houses many classrooms and offices to be a perfect platform for the kind of academic excellence that the university stresses.
