The University of Rovira i Virgili (URV), located in the Catalan cities of Tarragona and Reus, Spain, is named in honour of Antoni Rovira i Virgili. It is a nationally and internationally recognized institution for both teaching and research, with additional centres in Vila-Seca, Tortosa, and El Vendrell. In 2018 and 2019, the university was ranked 78th among the world's best young universities under 50 years old, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
