Transportation in the city

Boston's Northeastern University campus is directly accessible by the MBTA's Orange and Green subway lines and numerous bus routes. Near the Marino Center, the Green Line E train stops at Northeastern on Huntington Ave, and the Orange Line stops at Ruggles.


Services offered by the university

  • The institution collaborates with HealthEquity (WageWorks) to provide a comprehensive commuter program. Participants in the program who are benefits-eligible academics and staff can purchase transit and parking on a pre-tax basis through automatic payroll deduction.
  • University Health and Counseling Services (UHCS) provide medical and mental healthcare to current Northeastern students with telehealth and scheduled visits.
  • The Northeastern University Library serves the whole Northeastern University community, including those in Boston, worldwide, and online. Its holdings are substantial- 483,683 print titles, 1,080,981 e-books, 181,059 licenced e-journals, and 133,733 streaming audio and visual titles in the Library's collection.

Aside from the main campus in Boston, the University has several campuses. Burlington, Charlotte, London (U.K.), Nahant, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Toronto, and Vancouver are among the satellite campuses.

  • Baseball, Field Hockey, Track & Field, and Volleyball are just a few of the athletic activities available. The University's sports team, the Northeastern Huskies, competed in 18 varsity sports as NCAA Division I members of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA).
  • It also has 485 campus organizations with a total of 18,900 student members. Student clubs and organizations, such as the Student Government Association, apply leadership skills.
