Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) is a public tertiary institution in the United States. It was established in the year 1867 and ever since the university has been servicing approximately 9,000 students in the region. As it is a Hispanic Serving Institution, it is difficult for other people to enter given there are quotas assigned to the Hispanic community but there are still many seats available for the general public. It has a wide range of undergraduate and master's degrees which are offered in three colleges: College of Business and Management, College of Arts and Sciences, and the Daniel L. Goodwin College of Education. The university occupies between #128 and #165 in the Regional Universities Midwest ranking. In addition, it occupies the #350 position in Business Programs
