Marist College is one of the best liberal arts colleges in Poughkeepsie, New York. It's a private institution established in the year 1929. The school provides a comprehensive liberal arts education, covering 56 undergraduate and graduate degree programs as well as 21 certificate programs. The undergraduate programs are distributed among six undergraduate schools; and these include the School of Computer Science and Mathematics, the School of Communication and the Arts, the School of Liberal Arts, the School of Science, the School of Management as well as the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Interestingly, the school has a strong partnership with IBM and affiliations with NAICU and AAC&U. In 2017, the U.S. News & World Report ranked Marist College as 9th among America's best colleges.
