How to Apply at Mannheim Business School

​Applying to Mannheim Business School (MBS) involves distinct processes for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. ​Please note that applications are accepted for the fall semester only, and the application window for the 2025/2026 academic year opens on April 1, 2025, for both.

For Undergraduate Admissions, applicants must apply through the University of Mannheim's application portal and submit the required documents, including academic transcripts, a personal statement, and proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent). 

For Postgraduate Programs, Applications for Master’s and MBA programs must be submitted via the Mannheim Business School (MBS) website. Required documents typically include academic transcripts, CV, personal statement, references, and for some programs, GMAT/GRE scores and work experience details. Certain programs may also require an interview.

Visa Requirements: International students must secure a German Student Visa before starting their studies. The visa process can take several months, so students are advised to apply early.

Scholarships: MBS offers various merit-based and need-based scholarships for international students, including:

  1. Mannheim Merit Scholarship:  for high-achieving undergraduate applicants.
