Transportation in the city

The campus is adjacent to the Lynnwood Golf Course, centrally placed, and has its own bus transit centre for easy access to Seattle and the neighbouring areas. Bus routes, rideshare matching services, carpool information, and other commute options are available from the campus.Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) in Seatac, WA, is the nearest international airport to Edmonds College. You may receive a bus pass/ORCA pass as an Edmonds College student or employee to commute locally.


Services offered by the university

  • The campus has 28 computer laboratories, nine science labs, three cafes, two greenhouses, a digital recording studio, an art gallery, a theatre, a child care centre, Seaview gym, Triton Field, a transportation hub, and a Central Washington University satellite centre.
  • Edmonds Community College has three housing halls on campus: Rainier Place, Sophie Court, and Spencer Court.
  • The Career Action Center, Counseling and Resource Center, Science Lab, Services for Students with Disabilities and TRiO Student Support Services are all located at Mountlake Terrace Hall (MLT).
  • The library is located in Lynnwood Hall. The Edmonds College Library is planned and arranged to fulfil EC students' changing academic demands and interests while assisting instructors and staff. Thirty-five thousand print books, 49,000 electronic books, textbooks, legal collection, online research databases, streaming media, and DVDs are available.
  • Edmonds College offers a variety of opportunities for students to socialise and learn outside of the classroom. The Center for Student Engagement and Leadership (CSEL) provides events and programmes to students to help guide their social and academic learning. CSEL also hosts a lecture series in which public figures discuss various topical issues.

  • Volleyball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, softball, and baseball are among the nine sporting teams that compete in the Northern Region of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). Triton Field, an on-campus multi-sport field turf complex, is where the four outdoor sports practice and play their home games.

  • Sophie Court has a 3-bedroom apartment with the option of a single or double room. Spencer Court has 12 three-bedroom apartments. 
  • Rainier Place accommodates 190 students. Rainier Place contains 56 units, with four bedrooms, two-bedroom, double studio, and single studio flats. It also has study lounges, a laundry facility, and a communal space for events and entertainment.
  • Triton Court, which houses 220 students, lies right across from the college's main entrance. The structure comprises five storeys, each with a communal study room, laundry facilities and a residential lounge for social and community events.
  • Private bedrooms, full kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and wireless internet access are all included in the fully furnished apartments.
