Clayton State University, a public institution in Morrow, Georgia, is part of the University System of Georgia and primarily serves the Metro Atlanta area. Its main campus covers 192 acres (0.78 km²) of wooded grounds featuring five scenic lakes. Located in the north-central region of Clayton County in suburban south metro Atlanta, the campus is approximately a twenty-minute drive from downtown Atlanta. Since its opening in 1991, Clayton State’s Spivey Hall has hosted a variety of musical events, including jazz and classical performances, establishing itself as one of Atlanta’s premier chamber music venues.
