Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship: Eligibility, Deadline & How to Apply

Government of Andhra Pradesh is implementing the Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme to provide financial assistance to eligible students belonging to SC / ST / BC / Minority / EBC (including Kapu) students to pursue PG / Ph.D / MBBS courses abroad in the academic year 2023–24.
It applies to students pursuing studies in any of the top 50 Institutions/Universities as per the latest QS and THE (Times Higher Education) world rankings 2023.

• Candidate should be a native of Andhra Pradesh.
• Maximum age limit is 35 years as on the date of publication of notification.
• Family income must not exceed ₹8 lakhs per annum.
• Only one candidate per family is eligible.
• Candidates who have already received financial assistance under any similar scheme from State or Central Government are not eligible.
• Qualifications
• For Post Graduate Courses (PG):
  
  • Must have 60% marks or equivalent grade in qualifying degree in:
  • Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences / Agriculture / Medicine & Nursing / Social Sciences / Humanities.
• For Ph.D Courses:
  
  • Must have 60% marks or equivalent grade in PG degree in:
  • Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences / Agriculture / Medicine / Social Sciences / Humanities.
• For MBBS Courses:
  
  • Must have 60% marks in Intermediate or equivalent.

Candidate should file online application at:

• Caste Certificate from Village/Ward Secretariat.
• Income Certificate from Village/Ward Secretariat (physically certified by District Collector).
• Ration Card, if available.
• SSC/Date of Birth Certificate (for age verification).
• Aadhaar Card.
• Nativity Certificate from MeeSeva/Revenue Department.
• Qualifying Examination Certificate
• Intermediate for MBBS
• Degree for PG
• PG for Ph.D
• Marksheet of qualifying examination (minimum prescribed marks proof).
