Hi Nithin,
Data science and computer science are 2 different programs. Though some subjects may coincide between the two programs like deep learning, machine learning, etc. The research oppourtunities at university of maryland baltimore county(UMBC) is better than university if missouri and missour state university. It will also be easier for you to apply for an internship from UMBC than from missouri.
