The University of New Hampshire, also known as the UNH is a public research institution that was founded in 1866 as the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts and is the flagship of the University System of New Hampshire. UNH is located in the city of Durham near the coastline of the state and it offers more than 100-degree programs and a wide variety of study abroad programs.
