Rutgers University–Camden, one of four campuses of Rutgers University, a public land-grant research institution, is located in Camden, New Jersey. Established in 1926 as the South Jersey Law School, it later merged with the College of South Jersey, forming the foundation of Rutgers–Camden. As the southernmost campus of Rutgers, it complements the university's other regional campuses in New Brunswick and Newark.
