Queen’s University is a public research university in Kingston, Canada. It is organized into eight faculties and schools. It was established in 1841 by the Church of Scotland via a royal charter. The first classes were intended to prepare students for the ministry. In 1883, it admitted its first batch of women to its medical education-affiliated school.
