Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon is one of four Ecole Normale Supérieure schools in France. It teaches Training and Research in fundamental and experimental sciences, humanities, and literature. The school has over 2,000 students and 1,000 researchers. The laboratories and research centres are divided into twelve departments. It is an important research centre and one of the essential centres for training French researchers since the 19th century through its history in pedagogy and education.
The school is a partner of the international associated laboratory SALADYN.
