Subject: Need Advice: Choosing Between University of North Texas (30L) and National College of Ireland (12L) for MSc in

Hi everyone,

I’m seeking advice on choosing between two offers for my MSc in Artificial Intelligence. Here’s my situation:

University Offers:

University of North Texas (USA): Total cost ~30 Lacs.

National College of Ireland (Ireland): Total cost ~12 Lacs.

Background:

I have 2 years of AI work experience in India and an above-average academic record.

As a middle-class student with 10 Lacs in savings.

Key Considerations:

Cost & Financing: The USA option requires a much higher investment (and likely a loan) compared to the more affordable Ireland option.

Career Development: I need to unskill my current skills and earn more in my career, so I’m looking for a program that not only teaches advanced AI but also boosts my earning potential.

Current Environment: Some peers have mentioned that the situation in both countries isn’t ideal right now, which adds to my uncertainty.

Long-Term Impact: I’m evaluating factors like program quality, post-study work opportunities, and overall return on investment.

Poll:
I’ve added a poll below—please answer it so I can better gauge your opinions and experiences. Consider like if you are in my situation which country you will choose.

I’d appreciate any insights or experiences regarding these programs, especially in terms of career growth and financial impact. Which option do you think would be more beneficial in the long run?

Thanks for your support!
