KU Leuven is one the finest in world. If you do not have any other universities with better propsects then grab KUL. Belgium is a nice country to live. Europe is a hub of research so you will find ample opportunities. And Yes Congrats bro

No , I have not applied to KUL. It is one of the best Belgian universities, and heavy into research. I've been to their campus and it's very beautiful.

You should prefer Germany over Belgium for Mech profile, unless you wish to do a PhD later.

Yes KUL is very research oriented, and you can make a good career in Academia from there on.
