I have completed 3yrs bachelor degree I want to study masters inusa so should I do 1yr pgdiploma course/work experience

No , diploma doesn’t hold much importance except just during admission very few universities want 16 yr of education I.e. either 4 yr degree or 3 yr degree + 1 yr diploma. Many universities do not have degree requirement. Get very good score in GRE , that improves the profile. See more

Some universities accept 3 year degree for certain courses. Better mail your target universities.
