The application process is straightforward and automatic, but it hinges on a complete and timely application for admission to UCL.
Step 1: Check Your Eligibility
Before you begin, carefully review the eligibility criteria on the official UCL scholarship website. Ensure your undergraduate institution is in the NIRF Top 100 and that your GPA is equivalent to a UK first-class degree.
Step 2: Choose Your Master's Course
Select a full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught programme at UCL that aligns with your academic and career goals. Distance learning options are not eligible.
Step 3: Complete the UCL Admission Application
Submit a complete application for your chosen Master's course through the UCL admissions portal well before the deadline. This includes uploading all required documents, such as transcripts, a personal statement, and securing two references.
Step 4: Ensure Application is Complete by the Deadline
Your admission application (including references) must be fully submitted by 5 PM BST, Thursday, 27 February 2025. Incomplete applications will not be considered for the scholarship.
Step 5: Automatic Scholarship Consideration
If your admission application is complete and you meet the eligibility criteria, you will be automatically considered for the scholarship. There is no separate application form.
Step 6: Receive an Offer from UCL
You must hold a conditional or unconditional offer of a place from UCL to be eligible for the scholarship award.
Step 7: Await the Scholarship Decision
The UCL selection panel will shortlist candidates based on academic achievement (GPA and NIRF ranking). Scholarship decisions are communicated after admission offers are made.
