MSc Finance Scholarships

The Impact Scholarship – Scholarships will be given to outstanding candidates applying to study the programme who come from low- or lower-income backgrounds and who may struggle to enrol in the programme without financial assistance.

The Impact Scholarship Coverage

Scholarships of up to £10,000 will be awarded to outstanding candidates who meet the requirements of the listed scholarships.

The Impact Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should provide an excellent application to the MSc Finance programme, demonstrating academic merit, strong professional or community experience, leadership potential and a clear career plan.

GMAT/GRE are not required for MSc Finance.

However, a strong GRE quantitative (162+) or overall GMAT or GMAT Focus (at least 80th percentile) scores add weight to the application.

How to Apply for The Impact Scholarship

There is nothing additional for candidates to do. All applicants who apply to study MSc Finance at UCL in the 2026/27 academic year and who meet the scholarship criteria will be considered for scholarship funding.

References

  • University need at least one academic reference from someone who has taught you at degree level. If you have been out of higher education for more than four years you can provide a professional reference instead.
  • Your second reference can be academic or professional.

Personal Statement

  • Submitting a personal statement is not required, but it can be used if you wish to communicate specific information to the admission committee.
  • You can type your personal statement in the online application form (3,000-character limit, including spaces) or upload it as a separate document. If you upload your personal statement, you can go over 3,000 characters but it cannot be longer than two sides of A4 paper (size 12 font and single spaced).

Applicants are required to submit a CV. Please make sure to provide all relevant and accurate information (exact degree title, beginning and end dates, location for professional experience, etc.)
