Question

Hi everyone, I have received admits from University of Maryland Baltimore County and University of Michigan Dearborn in MS in Engineering Management. I have also received a scholarship of $9k from UM Dearborn. Please suggest me which one would be a better option and why.

Rankings do not matter at all. It's high time that we leave our obsession with them. If u talk to anyone in the US..he will definitely tell u..keep ranking the last priority. U can also checkout parth vijayvargiya's videos. He always tells this. Look at the curriculum, job outcomes, location. Rankings will never help u finding a job. Consider them only if u have admit from mit Stanford..ivy leagues. Hope this helps.

University of Maryland Baltimore County  would be a better choice. Compare the cost, location and your career goals alignment with the course.

Very true @ad xyz, i dont know why people are emphasizing on ranking and that too qs Ranking 😂.  I was laughing when I read that advice .

Totally agree with you. Rankings are basically perceptions of few individuals. After top 30 they hardly matter.
