RUB M.Sc.Cs aspirant questions on blocked account and HiWi jobs

Hi I'm a 2026 CS graduate from Chennai (Sathyabama) planning to apply for M.Sc. Computer Science at Rahr University Bochum for Winter 2027. A few questions for anyone who's studied there or is currently there:


1. What was your actual blocked account amount, and did you top it up in year 2?


2. How easy was it to find a HiWi or student assistant position as a first-semester international student?


3. Any advice on the RUB application process or things you wish you'd known before applying?
