Hi Nivedita, MEM at NCSU is a good program in a good location. NCSU is close to RTP, or research triangle park which has a lot of MNCs and startups. Recruiters here hire a lot of students from NCSU. Living expenses are reasonable and not prohibitively expensive compared to Boston. Boston tho much better location with more advantages. NEU's MEM programme has both technical and managerial aspects, with graduates working in a variety of fields such as data science, business analysis, program managers etc. NEU has a location advantage with Boston being a technical hub, though location has taken a back seat due to covid and interviews for internships and full-time positions being conducted online. Having said that, Boston provides access to a variety of networking events that take place throughout the city. Because the NEU acceptance rate for most of their programs is extremely high, there will be a large number of students from India, which will increase competition for those on-campus opportunities. The co-op programme, in which students intern at various companies, is also excellent. Internships and coops help students earn more money and incrementally pay off their debts. I would suggest NEU MEM over NCSU MEM. But do look at the curriculum offered by both programs. Check which one aligns with your goals and intersts.
