My Toefl score is 83-(R-14,L-19,S-23,W-27). Will it be wise to sit for IELTS test this time instead of TOEFL?

Hello Prianka!

The TOEFL and IELTS are quite different in their structures and you should check the structures individually to choose from either of the note. There are some key differences between the two:
IELTS is assessed live by a human examiner unlike TOEFL.
IELTS also has a lesser duration than TOEFL (~3 hours).
IELTS has a variety of question types while TOEFL has only two- multiple choice objective, multiple answer multiple choice objective.
IELTS requires you to answer as you listen while TOEFL gives you separate time to listen to the recording and answer.

In general, the IELTS is considered easier as compared to the TOEFL. However, this opinion can be subjective and I recommend you to choose what best suits your abilities.
