How much gap is accepted to study in Canada?

Hi, I wanted to know will an excessive study gap be concerning while applying to universities and colleges in Canada. Also, will it affect the student visa process. If anyone has any idea about how much study gap is acceptable in Canada please let know. #Canada

Yes it will depending on how long. You have to justify why u took such a long gap and maybe apply to safe colleges for ur profile only. Visa can be more problematic tho. Have to give a really good reason with evidence.

I have seen people get accepted even after 15 years of gap. What matters is where you spent those years. What did you learn in those gap years and how future education be relevant to your current experience. Write all of these points in a sop which the university will read and decide if you are worth giving an admit to. You do the same while filing visa as well, you have to write a sop to convince the visa officer that you are eligible to get a student visa and you'll be a asset to them. Get an admit into relevant field and pray for the best. All the best :)
