Nyu is a brand. I remember my brother saying that his interviewer was impressed by the university he attended. Courant or Tandon doesn't matter as at the end of the day you will have NYU in your CV. NEU is a good University but it consists a mix of both avg and good students and the batch size is also huge su high competition but the good thing about NEU is it's co-op program. It's surprising how people are voting Tandon and Northeastern over SUNY Stony Brook. Please go with Stony Brook and instead follow Reddit communities where people are way more informed and helpful. Stony Brook CS department is way better and also very well-reputed in industry and in academia. Especially with “trendy” areas like AI/ML when compared with with the other two. CS course in NYU is highly reputed throughout the country. It stands in top 50 for CS. Also, graduate employbility rank is 16, in the world. See more
