Hello Everyone, I just took the TOEFL exam today. Would like to share my thoughts about it.
The utmost point I would like to mention is that try reaching the center AN HOUR BEFORE. This way you will get the seats early. And by the time you reach the speaking section, the hall would be silent. Therefore you would be comfortable while speaking as no noise interruption would be their. When I reached the writing section their was a lot of noise which disturbed many people for sure.
TOEFL practice :-
Well 1 week of preparation is more than enough. Their is NO NEED for you to join any institute for this until and unless you have already joined one for GRE.
All the 4 sections can be understood and practiced through YouTube videos. Their are hundreds of videos based on the 4 sections. NOTEFULL videos are the best for the speaking section.
Try practicing long listening lectures. Taking notes can be very tiring at times.
Reading though seems to be easy wasn't in my case as I got a lot of inference questions which consumes a lot of time. Practice 4 passages at a stretch.
P.S The 10 minute break you get after listening section is damn important. Drink water. And JUST RELAX.
