UmBC a good uni for ms on cs ? are they more research-oriented and not industry oriented?

UMBC is really a very good university for MS in CS. It even had good rankings in cs rankings by USNEWS. It has a very good name for its cyber security specialization mainly.

I have seen a lot of alumni getting into top companies who have graduated or studying in UMBC. So, you don't have to worry much about the job prospects. Even you will have a good research opportunity too if you are interested in it.
