BA psychology

Hey everyone
I am aiming for BA psychology in ivy league after 12th. I am currently in class 10 (giving my boards). Do you think me taking arts stream would lessen my chances since many consider it not to be most rigorous course. I am taking arts because I am interested in subjects like history and psychology.
